PART 2
Asked AI and still don't get it?
You ask AI about an idea and get a wall of jargon. You read it and still don't understand. You're not slow. AI just doesn't know who you are yet.
AI only adapts when you give it signals
In part 1, we saw that adaptive learning means teaching you exactly where you are. An AI chat can do that, but only if you give it signals. Here are four ways.
WAY 1
Tell AI who you are
One: tell AI who you are, what you already know, and why you're learning. Same question, very different answer.
WAY 2
Let AI test you first
Two: ask AI to quiz you with a few questions before it teaches. It will see where you are, then plan the path.
WAY 3
Still confused? Ask for a new explanation
Three: if you don't get it, don't just reread it. Ask AI to explain it a different way: with everyday examples, comparisons, or as if you were a fifth grader.
WAY 4
Teach it back to AI
Four: explain it back to AI in your own words, and ask it to point out what you got wrong. Your gaps show up fast.
TIP
Save notes for next time
One last tip: at the end of a session, ask AI to sum up what you understood and what's still weak. Next time, paste that in, and AI picks up right where you left off.
