What the site counts
To learn which content helps, the site counts page views and a few actions, such as clicking through to YouTube, reading an article to the end, finishing the quiz or clearing a game level. Each one is just a number with a few general labels: which page, Vietnamese or English, phone or computer, the referring site and the country.
What the site never stores
The site does not store your name, email, phone number or anything you type into the Ask Bit box, the glossary search or the name field on a certificate. It uses no tracking cookies and never sells or shares data with advertisers.
The counting tool
The site uses Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool that does not identify individual people. Your browser only keeps, on your own device, the time of your last visit, so the site can tell how many people come back. If you turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser, the site counts nothing.
