Same question, different results
You and a friend ask AI for the same thing. Why does their answer come out great and yours doesn't? The difference is the instruction you type, called a prompt.
What is a prompt?
A prompt is the message you send to AI. Think of AI as a smart assistant who just met you. It doesn't know who you are or what you need yet.
A short prompt makes AI guess
If you only type "write an ad", AI has to guess: what are you selling, to whom, how long should it be? Guessing gives you something generic.
FORMULA
The 4-part formula
The fix is simple: include all four parts. Role: who AI should act as. Context: who you are and who you're writing for. Task: exactly what you need done. Format: how it should look and how long it should be.
EXAMPLE
Put it into a real prompt
For example: You are an ad copywriter. I sell salted coffee, and my customers are college students. Write a Facebook post introducing our new drink, under 80 words, in a fun tone.
Before and after
Same AI, but this time the answer is ready to use.
TIP
Not happy? Just keep chatting
Not quite right? Just send another message: shorter, more fun, add the price. AI will fix it right away.
