A celebrity inviting you to invest?

Mark is scrolling and sees a video ad: a famous businessman explains how to invest for 30% profit a month. The face is right, the voice is right. But that person never said this.

HOW IT'S DONE

Pieced together from old videos

Scammers take a real interview video, use AI to change the lip movements and dub in a cloned voice, and turn it into a completely fake invitation.

WARNING SIGNS

High returns, guaranteed, urgent

Common signs: high returns that are "guaranteed", only a few spots left, and an invitation to a private chat group for "guidance".

LOOK CLOSELY

Lip movements and the page

Look closely: the lips don't match the sound, and the page running the ad is usually new, not that person's official page.

CHECK IT

Look on the official page

Check it: go to that person's official page, or read trusted news. A real invitation never lives only in some strange ad.

REPORT IT

Help others

When you see a fake ad, report it. You might save an older person from being scammed.
