House rules for AI
Every home has rules for phones, but very few homes have rules for AI.
RULE 1
Keep private info out
Rule one: don't give AI full names, your home address, photos of friends, or anyone's passwords.
RULE 2
AI helps, it doesn't do it for you
Rule two: AI helps explain and gives ideas, but homework, birthday wishes and important messages you write yourself.
RULES 3 AND 4
Check, and tell an adult
Rule three: check before you believe. Rule four: if AI says something strange or makes your child uncomfortable, tell an adult right away.
