Special episode #300: A day in Mark's life, 10 tasks with AI and every decision his own

Video number 300! For 299 episodes, Bit taught and Mark asked. This time Bit takes a day off, and Mark has to handle a whole busy day from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. using only what he's learned: planning the day, checking a rumor in the family group, summarizing email, hiding customer data before pasting into AI, reading headlines without panic, giving an AI agent a task with guardrails, asking AI to push back instead of praise, cooking from the fridge, stopping a voice-clone call and helping his niece with homework.

Bit is off today

Two hundred ninety-nine videos, and it was always Bit teaching and Mark asking. For episode three hundred, Bit takes a day off, and Mark has to handle everything, from waking up to going to bed, using only what he's learned on the channel, while Bit sits and watches with you.

⏰ 6:30

Ten minutes to plan the day

Six-thirty a.m., first thing: Mark's head is full of a dozen jumbled tasks. He dumps them all into the chat, with meeting times and deadlines, and asks AI to put urgent things first and heavy tasks in the morning. Ten minutes later, the whole day fits on one page, and Mark adjusts two spots to suit himself.

⏰ 7:30

A message in the family group

Seven-thirty, the family group lights up with a forwarded message: drinking hot lemon water every morning cures disease for good. Mark doesn't rush to share it; he asks AI where this information comes from, then opens the sources himself. No research says so, so Mark gently replies to the family.

⏰ 9:00

A long email and the weekly report

Nine o'clock at the office, the boss sends a three-page email and wants the weekly report before noon. Mark asks AI to summarize the email into to-dos and deadlines. For the report, he writes a three-part prompt: who he is, what he needs, what format, and attaches last week's report as a sample, so the draft sounds like Mark on the first try.

⏰ 10:30

Almost pasting customer data

Ten-thirty, Mark is about to paste the whole customer list into the chat for AI to sort, then stops: it has real phone numbers and addresses. He deletes the personal details first, replaces them with customer codes, then pastes. The result is the same, and the customers' data never leaves his computer.

⏰ 12:00

A lunchtime headline

Noon, over lunch, Mark scrolls past a headline saying AI will soon replace your job. This morning he saw it clearly: AI does each small task fast, while choosing the tasks, fixing the schedule and keeping customers safe is Mark's part. He reads closely, sees the article rests on one small survey, and calmly keeps eating.

⏰ 14:00

An agent task with guardrails

Two p.m., Mark remembers his mom's birthday is this weekend. He has an AI agent find three gifts under five hundred thousand dong, delivered within two days, with one clear rule: only search and compare, never order or pay on its own. Mark goes back to work and soon gets a neat comparison table.

⏰ 16:00

When AI praises too much

Four o'clock, Mark has an idea for a promotion and asks AI what it thinks. AI showers it with praise, but Mark knows AI tends to agree with whoever asks, called sycophancy, so he asks again: play a tough critic and point out three weaknesses. This time AI names a risk Mark hadn't thought of.

⏰ 18:30

Cooking with what's in the fridge

Six-thirty p.m., home at last, the fridge holds only three eggs, half a bunch of morning glory and a piece of tofu. Mark photographs the fridge and asks AI for a dish for two in twenty minutes. Dinner is garlic morning glory and tofu with egg sauce, no trip to the market.

⏰ 19:30

A call faking his brother's voice

Seven-thirty, the phone rings: Mark's younger brother, panicking, says he's had an accident and needs twenty million dong right away. The voice is identical, but Mark remembers voices can now be faked with deepfakes. He hangs up, calls back on the familiar number, and asks the family password. Turns out his brother is watching football; there's no accident at all.

⏰ 20:30

Helping his niece with homework

Eight-thirty, his little niece asks Mark to solve a math problem. Mark doesn't have AI solve it; he tells AI to play tutor: no answers, just hints step by step and questions back. Fifteen minutes later, she finds the answer herself and can even explain it back to Uncle Mark.

⏰ 22:00

Looking back on the day

Ten p.m., Mark looks at his tally: AI helped with ten tasks, and all ten final decisions were Mark's, so Bit stands up and claps because he didn't have to remind him once today. That's what three hundred videos have been saying: AI works fast, and you're the one at the wheel.
