A vague brief
Agents usually go wrong because the brief is vague. A good brief has three parts: the goal, the limits, and when to ask back.
GOAL
Describe the result
The goal is a concrete result, like a table comparing five restaurants near the office, with prices and opening hours.
LIMITS
Draw the lines
Limits are what it must not do, like no booking and no going over budget.
ASK BACK
When to stop and ask
Finally, tell the agent to stop and ask you when information is missing or when it needs to log in.
