Five common traps
The more confident AI sounds, the easier it is to fall into a trap. These are the five most common ones.
TRAPS 1-2
Made-up numbers, fake voices
One: AI makes up numbers and still sounds sure, so check the source. Two: scammers fake a relative's voice, so call back on a number you know.
TRAPS 3-4
Pasting data, trusting detectors
Three: pasting your ID or bank account number into a chatbot. Four: trusting AI-writing detectors, which often guess wrong.
TRAP 5
Letting AI decide for you
Five: letting AI decide about health, money or legal matters. AI helps you understand; qualified people decide.
